ARTISTA Boracay Island Hotel is the
lovechild of Swiss national Jimmy Losher and his Filipina
wife Nenita. In the 1980s, Jimmy was already a regular
tourist of Boracay island, long before Boracay earned
its niche in the global tourism map. His favorite beach on
Boracay at that time was the ARTISTA Beach, now known as
Diniwid beach. When Jimmy met and married his wife Nenita in
2000, they decided to put up their own Boracay beach resort
and name it after ARTISTA beach as a form of
tribute.
ARTISTA Boracay boutique hotel and
beach resort started operations in 2005 and has since
invested efforts and capital to modernize amenities to match
those commonly found in 4-star hotels. Thus, ARTISTA Boracay
Hotel was made to cater to guests who are seeking freedom,
fun and comfort, all at the same time. The overall design of
the place is patterned after the former ARTISTA
Beach---undefined, yet exquisite and open to allow guests to
experience the excitement of the treasures of
Boracay.

family rooms with ample space for a family with at least
four members. All rooms are artistically and personally
designed by Jimmy and Nenita themselves. The rooms have all
the amenities usually found in current boutique hotels.
Among the basic fixtures and furniture are the king-sized
beds, cable television sets, air conditioners, lounge areas
with sofa beds, a mini-bar and baths with hot and cold

facilities, ARTISTA Boracay Beach Resort have resources to
organize many beach activities like snorkeling, diving,
